  • How do you select your caregivers?

    Our caregivers are carefully selected through an interview process with multiple staff members. We select caregivers that have a passion for helping seniors remain independent in their home. At the time of selection they are required to pass a drug test, criminal background check and a reference check. During our free in home consultation of services, our Care Advisor will ask you several questions in order to ensure we have matched you with a caregiver that fits your needs and personality. Our friendly Care Advisors will introduce you to your caregiver prior to your services.

  • Do you train your caregivers?

    We provide extensive training for all caregivers. Monthly in-services and ongoing training is provided throughout the year.

  • Are your caregivers independent contractors?

    All caregivers are employed by Freedom Senior Services of Indiana, Inc. Therefore, they are bonded and insured.

  • Will I receive the same caregiver each day?

    In order to provide better service for our clients, we do our best to provide the same caregiver for each day of service. If a change in a schedule is needed, you will be notified which caregiver will provide services for you.

  • Do I have to receive service on a regular basis?

    Several of our clients have services provided on a regular basis. However, you are not required to do so. We also have several clients that receive services bi-weekly, once a month, or as needed. We can generally provide transportation with a 24-48 hour notice.  In order to schedule an appointment for a caregiver to visit you, please contact our office at 359-3733.

  • What is included in your housekeeping services?

    Our services include anything from light housekeeping to a deep cleaning. In order to learn what services we can provide, our Care Advisors can explain each service in detail during your consultation of services

  • Can you set up medications and remind my loved one to take them?

    Due to the fact that our caregivers are not Registered Nurses, we are not able to set up or administer medications. Our caregivers can do a medication reminder to ensure our clients are taking medications accurately.

  • What are your rates and do you charge a minimum amount of hours for service?

    In order to receive the most accurate information, it is best to contact our Care Advisors to setup a free consultation of services. Pricing information will be discussed at this time.

  • How soon can you provide services?

    Once our Care Advisor provides a free consultation of services, we will sign an agreement of services. At that time, we can provide care immediately.

  • Do you provide services in Assisted Living and Long Term Care Settings?

    We can provide service in any setting whether it is an apartment home, residential home, assisted living home or long term care suite. Our mission is to provide exceptional services to seniors wherever they call home.

  • What makes you different from other home care companies?

    We are owned by the Justus Companies, which is a family owned company. They have exceptional experience in working with seniors as they’ve been in business since 1910. Customer service is one of our core values, so we provide Care Advisors for all of our clients. The Care Advisors serve as a liaison between the client, the family, and the caregiver to provide you excellent service.

  • What happens if I have an emergency after business hours?

    Our office is open from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., but we are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All medical emergencies should be directed to 9-1-1, but if there are any emergencies regarding schedules a staff member will be available.
